What Hevy does well
Hevy has strengths Repp does not, and they belong in a fair comparison.

-
Everywhere you are
Hevy runs on iPhone and Android, in the browser, on Apple Watch and on Wear OS.
-

Switch in 3 steps
All you need is both apps on your iPhone. Nothing changes in Hevy.
-
Step 1: Export from Hevy
Export your workouts from Hevy as a CSV file and save it somewhere you can find it in the Files app.
Profile > Settings > Export & Import Data > Export Data > Export Workouts -
Step 2: Pick the file in Repp
In Repp, go to the Profile tab, tap "Import workouts" and choose the CSV file.
Profile > Import workouts -
Step 3: Check the preview and import
Before anything is saved, Repp shows how many workouts and sets it found, the date range, what you already have and what will be skipped. If it looks right, start the import.
What the import does
What comes along
- Date, start time and name of every workout
- Exercises, sets, reps and weight, in kg or lb
- Warm-up sets and hold times for exercises like planks
- RPE (5 to 10), workout duration and workout notes
What stays behind
- Distances and cardio entries without a time
- Hevy exercise notes and superset grouping
- The weight on assisted exercises
Good to know
- Importing is free. Files can be up to 20 MB.
- Repp spots duplicates, so importing the same file twice is safe.
- You can undo your most recent import on the device you imported on.
- Imported workouts are not written to Apple Health.
- Exporting from Repp is free too, as a Hevy-compatible CSV.
Switching from Hevy: FAQ
Is Repp really free?
Yes. Workout tracking, your own plans and exercises, history, stats, CSV import and export, Apple Health, sync, warm-up sets, progression suggestions and achievements are free, with no limits. You only pay if you want an AI training plan.
Is there a subscription?
No. An AI plan is a one-time purchase per plan: $24.99 through December 31, 2026, and $34.99 starting January 1, 2027. Keeping a plan costs nothing extra. Every new AI plan, including a follow-up plan, is a new purchase. The app shows the exact price before you buy.
Will I lose my Hevy data?
No. Exporting only makes a copy, and everything stays in Hevy. Repp brings over workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, warm-up sets, RPE, duration and workout notes. Exercise notes, superset grouping, distances, cardio entries without a time and the weight on assisted exercises stay behind.
What happens to exercises Repp does not know?
Repp adds them as custom exercises. You pick the muscle group yourself, so your stats stay accurate.
Can I undo the import?
Yes. You can roll back your most recent import on the device you imported on.
Is Repp on Android?
No. Repp is available on the App Store for iPhone.
Do imported workouts go to Apple Health?
No. Imported workouts stay in Repp. New workouts you log in Repp are written to Apple Health only if you allow it.
